We are based in the United States of America (USA). We do not have a physical presence in the EU.

Our full name is The Villages Genealogical Society Genetic Genealogy Special Interest Group, herein called The VGS Genetic Genealogy SIG. We operate as an educational group under our parent organization, The Villages Genealogical Society, a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization. Our intended audience is our membership, which is composed of residents of The Villages, Florida, who are dues paying members of The Villages Genealogical Society. Additionally, our website may be visited by members of the wider genealogical community. The Villages Genealogical Society reimburses Mr. Lannin for periodic domain fees he pays to the hosting service provider, GoDaddy,com. This site is not operated as a business, and receives no income from advertising, product sales, fees, or any other external source.
